Hey guys,

Im pretty new to the whole NGC emulators so I'm not too familiar with everything yet but I understand that Dolphin and GCEmu are the 2 'best' at the moment so I've been trying both emu's and different versions too to see which works best for me.

My system contains:
AMD64 3000+ (clocked to 2.16GHz)
Asus A8N-E
512MB Memory
GeForce 6200 TC 64MB (256MB Shared)
Windows XP Pro SP2
DX9.0b

That must be enough, so I've read both compatible lists of the emu's and found out that on GCEmu Mario Party 4 will only show the Nintendo logo and the green screen will appear right after that.
I've tried and that's exactly what happened so I continued with Dolphin.

I first started using the latest version of Dolphin, but when I loaded the .GCM file I immediatly got an error from Dolphin (regular Application Error screen), so I've tried the other version, so I first started with v1.03, then 1.02 and as very last 1.01.

Only 1.01 worked! but it didnt fade in the Nintendo logo as it did with GCEmu, but I didnt care that much about that, so then the Hudson logo appearred and then I got the weirdest thing.

That yellow bar on the 2nd screen stays there the entire time, plus it firsts starts in Black and White, later when I press Enter, the next screen appears where I have to Press Start etc...that's then all in color but stutters like a b*tch! When I get to the Memory Card Slot screen I will get en error and Dolphin will freeze and I'll have to close the process.

It's very annoying but hey I don't expect it to play like the real NGC ;) but I hope it's fixable.

Hope you guys can help me out here,

TIA, Peace,

Well I raed on a forum somewhere that you could rename the .iso to .gcm to make it play but what are you trying to tell me?

I don't have to change the extension to .GCM? Then how should I play it and is this really the problem?
