FFX problem

i have a problem i just got the pcsx0.9 and i tried to play FFX(the real cd game)and once i start the frate is high then once i start the game the frame rate drops all the way down to 1-2 what should i do?

(i use the plugins that it can with)

P.S:how do i check my pc specs?

P.S:that didn't work for me.there was one run program that will get all your ps specs anyone know what to run

emu isnt complete speeds suffere as result, if u want to run game at full speed, i suggest you try your ps2 :) fps, to improve matters, try upgrade your cpu / or graphics card, also try cpu options, such as vu-rec etc. suggest take a quick trip to the screenshots section of this board, so you can compare your speed and plugins/options others are using to try and reproduce simular/better results :) best of luck
