controller problem

hi guys...
i have a problem with my controller to play pcsx2
i'm using usb digital controller. if i looked and configured at the game controllers, it works well. i can do the mapping.
but when i try to play ps2, it doesn't work.
i've been using all the controller plugin, but no1 seems to work.
i've tried to configure but it won't respond.
especially while using ssspsx pad config, after i hit the config, suddenly it closed.

but when i'm using epsxe, the pad works really well.
is the pad for ps 1 different from ps 2???
how can i configure for ps 2 ???

To solve this issue config the SSSPSX PAD and click OK, of course the emu will crash (don't know why though...).
Start the emu again and just select SSSPSX PAD as your first controler (don't try to configurate it again) and close the configuration window.
Now you will be able to use the PS1 gamepad on PCSX2...

Note: When you shut down the emu the error message will appear, but don't mind that the emu will still work next time you run it...
