Not a generic problem-need expert

Hi
I bought the NTSC version of Final Fantasy IX (I have PAL PS2, so that is why I am using it on the computer)
I have ESPXE v1.6 with all plugins and bios etc, but for some reason the Playstation disc doesn't even register in my CD Drive...
Even in Alcohol...it just will not appear because I thought I could just make an ISO image...
Help me soon please

Just tried ESPXE 1.5.2 because ppl said to use that...STILL NOT WOKING!

well some CD-ROM drives dont work with PSX games. try it on a friend;s computer, perhaps? or get a new drive.
