PS2 net connection problem

I've been trying to connect to net with my PStwo, but there seems to be a problem while testing DNS connection and as a result the entire connection is down. I tried to set DNS config to automatic as well as configurated them manually according to the DNS on my PC. Neither works. I currently have a chello service and tried to connect my PStwo directly, without router and such. Can anyone tell me what's the issue? Thanks in advance.

maybe it's the same problem as with neostrada - did you try to connect using your pc?

you can't connect directly your PS2 you have to share your connection from PC to your PS2

I guess I have to give up online playing on PS2 for now...

don't give up, network cards R very cheap this days :) and online with PS2 roX :D
