Next3D v1.0 has (finally) been released. I used the word 'finally' because I've been meaning to do this for a while now.

So what is this? Well, it's a graphics plugin (of course), but this one takes advantage Direct3D 8 and hardware T&L. I'm not sure how much of a boost you'll get from having a T&L card, but you can decide for yourself :)

There's nothing 'new' to say since this is a first release :) But there are some cool new features that you'll see in NextGL v1.5 when I finish that:
- Full blending support (not 100% finished yet)
- Much better sprite caching. (The fast caching has been fixed up a bit)
- An accurate sprite caching technique. (By using the primitive cache instead)
- A bug fix for loading save states. (Forgot to clear the texture cache.)

Watch out for that sometime. (Not this weekend though...)

Enjoy!

Yes it is. I really don't mind. It's almost the same :) Just as long as people don't read it too fast and think "NIK" :)
