Hello everybody! I'm on an emergency! I CAN'T RUN A GAME!
Well, I can run it, but it locks-up (the game works, the pause works, but the character keeps walking, but it stands on the same place)
The game...? Thousand Arms, on the opening, before the Movie Clip, I believe... :(

The character walks slowly, and when he is in front of the second house, he stops walking, but the graphic keeps walking. The muscis runs, the Pause works, and the emulator doesn't lock up.

Is it something of the CD or what?? I beg all of you, please help meeeeeeeee!!

Thanks

believe me, there's no emu yet that can emulate it past that point. :(

The ISO didn't work at all...

WHAT?! So it's the game...damn...:(
Let us hope something happens soon...

Anyway...:( Thanks, I think....

You can't get past that point. I'm not sure when/if that problem will be fixed, either. Not exactly the world's most popular game.

don't you guys think it's some sort of copy protection? it's highly unusual that any emulator coudn't run this game. i mean, at least parasite eve 2 worked in fpse (somewhat).

Yeah, it could be...
I've already changed this game for Chrono Cross, but I'd love to play Thousand Arms someday.

When will that day come? I hope we all know soon! Lemme know if something pops up, sire :)

I don't think so, remember "Legend of Legaia"? A while back, no emulator could play this game, and it always froze at the exact same spot.

Yeahh... I know.

I have this game at home, and I still couldn't figure out why does its character stop walking at that position, during intro.

I think that it is related to RTCs... I hope that it is only a matter of time until I have it solved.

Wish me good luck.

See ya.

Oops.. sorry.
On previous reply I was talking about "Thousand Arms" ;)

As for Legend of Legaia's problem, it is already solved.

No emulator I know can run that game... and it's no RTC issue, as far as I can see, it's a SPU IRQ issue... the game sets a spu irq address and a loop address, but funny enuff the sample is not a looping one, so the irq address will not be reached.
I've tried a cheat in my spu, just doing a fake loop, and yeah, the first text box shows up, and the character talks, but after the text box closes some more strange spu irq addresses are happening, and the character stands still... bah :)

Hey, at least that's some improvement. :)

Good luck trying to figure this out, Pete.
