@dukenukem: It's Akira, one of the only 2 anime I ever watch. I'd try to make a paper from Ghost in the Shell, but it really doesn't match my theme. I remember when back in the day this channel that would show those kind of movies on either Saturdays or Sundays at 10 in the morning. Can't remember which channel but they had a bunch of good movies. I miss that...

it is not the best card you can get, but it is a fine one.
it s a ATI Radeon 9600XT with 256 MBRAM.

But like a said it works very fine

Sorry if my desktop disgust you so Chaos, I was simply showing off all the wallpapers I was using with the current desktop since I'm using a wallpaper changer and it changes ever hour. I was just knocking it out with one swoop. I thought it would be less irriating doing this rather than post each one every other day and not change the desktop.

I know you can argue, "why not just show one and save the rest when you change your desktop'' and I understand, but their are other nice wallpapers and I'll use them on my next desktop.

odd, it only comes with the theme file...i cant see it when i right click and go to properties...but when i double click on the file it comes up....

edit: ok, i made a directory (simple themes/lunavx) and now it's autodetected and it works.

It weighs like 9 pounds with battery inserted. Its's less heavy then the Dell Inspiron 9100 or XPS. It gets like 1 1/2 hours of battery life if your like playing a game or something intensive. I always keep it plugged in as a desktop replacement. The only reason why it cost me 4 thousand is because I bought a lot of extras also. Like Internal wireless card, premium backpack, intellimouse 4 explorer, 3 year warranty, headphones and etc. If I just got the laptop and nothing else it would have cos me like $2900 dollars instead. :)

My desktop is very mac central. I don't know why I just thought it was kinda cool. Oh and the startup bar and winamp bar give my screen a widescreen effect I think which makes playing movies ever so nice. I got one shot without my auto-hide sidebar and one with. AS for stuff running in background I have effectively destroyed every unneeded piece of software on my pc. only winamp, internet, panda, and delta run in background. YAY! :rotflmao: Need a better background though... :cry:

Just ABC, Winamp, Maxthon (MyIE2), Copernic Desktop Search (a must for my bibliographical searches, and many other things), Getright, Delta, Daemon Tools (a must too, given my large amount of ISOs :evil: ), Microsoft Money and WinDVD 6.

MMD3 is my all-times favorite ;)
The VS I'm using is NightShades, and I'm using it with StyleXP 2.0.
So far I'm liking it :p

I usually deactivate the "Show Desktop Icons" setting. I have all the files in a scroll menu right next to the system tray, I rarely look at my desktop anyway.

Aston Shell is one. I tried it on my computer at school and it works pretty well.it looks much better then windows and can be modified in so many ways

Here's 2 desktops, one is bb4win, the other is explorer with a longhorn theme ( looks good with the firefox longhorn theme, which is what i use :D )

And before anyone asks, i'm using Cursor XP Plus to get my most wonderful mouse cursor and trail and click effects, sounds, etc. for me mousie. Which is a Logitech mouse with a blue LED..

I have a lot more games I can install. I only installed the ones I know I'll be playing. :)
And yeah, I've been able to throw anything I have tried at it with good framerates, but I still have yet to install my 3.2grz P4 (would be 3.4, but they discontinued the socket 478 P4's JUST before I was going to get it). And that was before I installed Battlefield 1942 and it's expansions. :p And I've still not been able to scratch the surface of the HDD space, hehe. :D

Another day, another wallpaper. Same exact theme as last time.. i just wub this one enough to use it twice. However, I've just changed the fonts around on it so it would look cooler (the Quark font used on the wallpaper is used now). But i still have a way to go to get the Quark font used everywhere... Once i do have quark everyone and on everything, i'll have another post by then to show it off :)
