Yeah, it's a bit harder than in 32-bit due to the way it stores the uxtheme.dll file, but I mangaged to sort it. Widowblinds is annowing. The borders on windows don't dissapear when they are maximised, and it had a tendancy to keep the taskbar in front regardless of the app (try playing Doomsday with a taskbar at the bottom; it's ninja off-putting)

Using a PC instead usually has to do more with the cost of either system and the availability of applications, and specially games :P .

Well, I like Windows and Linux better than OSX... I'm familiar with them, but I do like the design of OSX so I've collected quite a few visual styles, some icons and even cursors inspired by OSX. Hehe, unfortunately I can't remember where I found most of them since it's been years but I'd be happy to send them to you!

I'm using a program called FinderBar. It uses Windows' shortcuts and arranges them Maclike. So far it's the only program i've used that didn't replace my taskbar or replace any system files which allows me to use it on any visual style.

The icons and calendar are desklets from avedesk.

The weather and system info are widgets from desktopx

Yeah, 2 minutes after ive posted that i was checking my news sites, which includes deviantART, and saw it.. using it now too, good VS. only beef i got is the messed up fonts, if you dont use the pixel font, it takes some other default font (tahoma or arial prolly), which looks nice, BUT it messes up the sizes totally in the windows explorer view.

Oh, bottom corner, wasn't sure which corner sorry. The player is called Silica MP3 Player. It's a desktopx widget but I'm pretty sure it can be run as a separate program. You can use it as a mp3 player or as a remote for Winamp, QCD, iTunes, Coolplayer, ObjectMedia, StardockPlayer, or Windows Media Player.

The status program is clear meter bar. It's also a desktopx widget that I think can run on its own also.

was gonna submit its to samurize website and the visual syle is longhorn 5203 i think. To get this thing in the corner you need a program called Samurize, google it. i took the picture of the flower lol with my digital camera if anyone intrested in the wallpaper let me know.. . do yah think its worth submiting the samurize config honeslty?

Yes, yes, I know Valcrist that on Mac it's common :) Well during the golden Amiga times I had the options bar in the top as well, but I've been using Windows and KDE/Gnome on Linux for so long that I got used to it and that way is the most comfortable for me now ;)

I was watching a bit of Gundam SEED and found some inspiration so I decided to do these animated wallpapers based on the gundam bootup screens to go with Windows Vista (maybe as a custom boot screen rather than the welcome)
