Anyone have some good links for streaming japanese music? (NOT in media player format. RA, MP3, AAC are preferable, OGG or other formats will work, just not media player-specific ones like asx, wma, etc.)

Already have/use winamp (that's why I don't want any media player crap). The winamp.com music section has nada, the internet radio section (just a frontend for shoutcast, really) only has one non-broadband station.

The only one I can think of right now is kawaii radio (http://kawaii-radio.net/)

Screamer Radio has alot of predefined japanese stations, including kawaii-radio. Also a good music streamer btw ;)

Screamer looks promising, but kept crashing on me.

I found a few stations that are pretty good, here's my playlist if anyone's interested: http://allspark.net/cypherswipe/japanese.m3u
The j-fan one is great when it works, but it hasn't been able to connect for almost a week now. I don't know if the server is down, or if it's a timing thing (although the station claims it broadcasts 24/7).

Big B Radio (http://www.bigbradio.com)for me, I hang with them for a while now.. they play not only japanese, but chinese and korean as well. Average about 100+ listeners at a current rate throughout the day, so they're prettah good. Almost all of the DJs are hot azn girls so I guess thats what attracts more and more listeners each day -.-

they have a cool website !

One huge problem I've had trying to find these stations is that so many sites which claim to have streaming music either don't, or have the link buried 50pages deep in their site (which is bad enough when you can read the language, but when you can't...)
