The original version of the Ring is ok but the US remake was laughably bad, I was almost thrown out of the cinema for descending into laughter at the horribly bad CGI horse jumping off the ferry.

Ps, it should also be mentioned that seeing a ring of light from the bottom of a well, when it is covered by a slab would be impossible.
