Various speeds '3-8 FPS ingame', most houses are '11-16 FPS', 2D intro '90-104 FPS', menus around 16 FPS.

Sadly controls seemed to stop responding at the last screenshot :(...and there was me all set to get through the first island :p

Edit: I found the updated plugin. Works great now!

I got a question CKEmu, do you run an ATI or nVidia card? When I try running this emu on my GeForce 6800, I have to turn off all shaders for it work. The game doesn't look nearly as good as your shots, lots of textures are missing and shadows are colored red.

Heh, i i dit it too!!!!   :D :D It was take me about 20 minutes to get the telescop. Then the game freeze.:( I have : Athlon xp 2200+180 GHZ,(overclocked to 1.90 GHZ,) 512 mb ddr 133 mhz ram, and geforce fx 5700le 256 mb. The speed is 1-6 fps ingame,10 15 fps in houses, 2d intro 100+fps, and menus around 17 fps. It is not very fast but it is enough to play the game, (If you have saved games..)

I would like to know how the Zelda Wind Waker in my PC would be executed. These are the main characteristics:

- Intel Pentium 4 2,42 GHz
- Windows XP Home Edition
- NVidia GeForce MX 440 128 MB (With the latest drivers - 81,98 Forceware)
- 1024 MB SDRAM
- 120 GB HD
- DirectX 9.0c

At what speed it work?

PD: Sorry, my English is too bad. I need to study more English!!!:D

Well, as i say it works at 6 fps for me. Maybe it will run a bit faster on your machine, because your cpu is fatest than mine. But my grafics card is better than yours so i am not sure.:) You can test the game, and then you will see what speed it will work.

I have asked this because I do not know what influences more in the emulation of the Zelda Wind Waker; if grafics card or the CPU Anyway, thanks, BAXTER STOCKMAN.:D:D Although I wished to obtain one more a more precise answer.:(

:D Hmm... i think that maybe it needs a very powerful card. You can see how great the grafics are!! There are like a cartoon movie!! Only a few ganes has so great grafics. Doom3 is the only game i think that has so great grafics , like the wind waker! So this means that maybe we will need a AMD 3000+ with 1 gb ram, and geforce fx 7800 gt 512 mb to run wind waker at full speed!! Am i right?

There's a "small" difference between Doom 3 and Zelda WW... Doom 3 is written and compiled for an x86 system and uses OpenGL for graphics were Zelda WW is running through an emulator which kinda means the PC is "translating" all the code so that it runs on x86 (dynamic recompiling or interpreting the code). Ohyeah, and then it still has to do the graphics, timing, audio, i/o...

Afaik, you're better off with a fast CPU when it comes to emulation, ofcourse you'll need a decent GFX card, but it doesn't really have to be a 7800GTX or anything for now... ;)

There are probably people on this forum who can give a better explanation, but this is kinda how it works.

This thread is very old and is talking about a very old version of dolphin, not the one you're testing now.

It's not a good idea to bring up old threads for no real reason because you just didn't read and understand what was going on in it.
