VGS running under VMware on a linux machine runs fine...
Its a little choppy, but my PC is a P2 266. Does anyone have it playable with this config on their machine? If so, what speed/sort of CPU are you running on?

You're telling me VGS runs under VMWare?! Man, I gotta test this...

Its worth mentioning that VMWare doesn't support VGS reading CDs directly, you need to use Daemon tools to get it to work.
epsxe 1.2 works in pure software mode too! :) I turned off sound and it ran Lunar 2 faster (its PLAYABLE... at least for the couple minutes I tested it) than VGS did. Of course, if I turn on sound, I ruin the speed and the sound sounds like total crap, but keep in mind my slow CPU...
