hmm you plug dual shock/2 on one side and than plug the adapter to the pc... and AFAIK adapter converts dual shocks signal that pc can understand it and it work for the othere side (DS understands PC signal - rumble for example)... let's wait for more technical answer :)

can i make my own convertor using a old usb connector from my printer and my dual shock 2 controller by connecting the wires????????

Uhh.... I doubt it. Pretty sure you need a chip to translate it. You can do that with a parrallel port adaptor IIRC.

why do you want to make one? (there wasn't this question if that's your hobby)
why not buying one? less stress, work, and price... well when you'll buy it there's almost 100% possibility Not to mess something (not only the adaptor, but your pc or DS as well)

coz i don't know where to buy the convertor here on the philippines
