Just thought I'd post this email I got, may save someone:

Dear PlayStation(R) Underground Member,

You are scheduled to receive the Holiday 2004 Demo Disc
including the playable Viewtiful Joe 2 - please take note.
It has just been brought to our attention that there is a
glitch in this demo which will erase all of your saved files
from your Memory Card(s). If you have not yet played the
Viewtiful Joe 2 demo, please remove your Memory Card(s)
from your PlayStation(R) 2 computer entertainment system
before you load the Holiday 2004 Demo Disc.

Sony Computer Entertainment America would like to express
our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have
caused you.

Well it's not really vital news to the emulation community, but pretty vital to PS2 owners :p Wow this news blows ... Good thing I stopped buying those demo's :lol:

lool WTF...the know about that bug and the don't do anything about it? just send copies of that disc to people? dooh...

anyway having that demo would be a 'very nice' thing if you want to take revenge on your neighbor :evil:

Heh I saw that too, that is kind of an evil thing to do to a naive PS2 owner who jumps at anything new.

can anyyou tell me how to activate this glich cause i want to erase all the files in my memory card. see, in my memory card, there are corrupt files that wont get deleted, i tried the ps2 browser to delete the files but it would just say delete failed. so i thought by activating the glich it may erase all the files in my memory card

Hbk0259, all you need to do is run "Vutiful Joe 2" and that will take care of it. If you have any further questions, just ask.

I just got the disk yesterday, so thanks for telling me. I would have play viewful Joe 2 without checking my email and I would lose everything.

I just got my demo disk yesterday, but it doesn't have Viewtiful Joe 2 on it, so I don't know what's going on.
