I'm thinking of upgrading my old TNT2 and I wanted to ask which card performed better, an Nvidia GeForce 2 MX or an ATi Radeon VE. I would like some opinions from the people here who have used or are using the cards. Currently I have my mind set on the Radeon VE. Is it a good choice?

Hmm, so you all think I should get a GeForce 2 MX then? It's just that I found a Radeon VE card that's selling for $99 CDN (which would translate to exactly $63.12 US). I thought it was a pretty good deal, just wanted to know if it was worth getting

GeForce2 Pro isn't not bad choice to chose. You will gain much more perfermance than GeForce2MX400.

it kicks the pants of a Geoforce 2 MX and is very cheap.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I've decided to go with a GeForce 2 GTS ($169 CDN, advertised as a GTS but is actually a Pro). It was somewhat pricier than the Radeon VE I was planning for but I guess it pays off in the long run. :)

Be glad you didn't get the VE, it's a severely castrated Radeon..

GeForce GTS is becoming cheap just add a few buck over the mx400 and you can get one or if you have some money you can go for GeForce 3 Ti200 a slightly cheaper GF3
