I think I've got nothing here on storage media atm...
I'm not often watching things twice....unless I happen to encounter them 'randomly'.
But I've watched Love Hina, most of Azumanga Daioh, Initial D, Akira (the movie; didn't like it), Gunsmith Cats, About half of Martian Successor Nadesico, The first five (or so) eps of Cowboy Bebop (nice), the first five eps of Samurai Champloo (but it became boring), Street Fighter 2 The animated movie, and the first 2 eps of Tenchi Muyo (it was a video tape).
And then bits and pieces of a few others, but nothing noteworthy (unless I'm forgetting something).
Lentoman
October 20th, 2004, 23:29
I've watched a few, the only one's I have liked so far:
Louie The Rune Soldier (not very famous but you should all watch it, its very nice ^_^)
Card Captor Sakura (Series and the 2 movies)
Laputa (Movie)
Naruto (only watched a few so far, I'll definately get back to it eventually)
I watched a few others but not listing them as I wouldn't recommend them. Next I'm probably going to watch all episodes of hack//sign.

Dbz :p
Another serious anime fan besides me who likes dragonball?! I thought I'd never see the day. Well I don't feel like typing my entire collection right now but here (http://anidb.ath.cx/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=mylist&uid=16473) is a link to my animedb page. Most of my collection is on there, but there is still some stuff I need to add.

Oh, that's one I forgot. I watched quite a number of DBZ eps because it aired here.
Not good in particular, but it had the soap-series-effect...
Also watched some Sonic X ...duh, avatar...but I dunno if that qualifies as Anime or more as Kids cartoons... still, it was ok.

Only a few, really. Don't know where to get most episodes things. :p
And yeah, I'm a dragonball fan since I first saw it on Cartoon Network in 97'. :p
Dragonball (own first 3 saga's and 5th saga)
Dragonball Z - The only things I don't own is the movie in the future (w/trunks), Bardock: Father of Goku, Saiyaman Saga, Frieza saga and Fusion saga.
Dragonball GT (*cough* ogm's *cough*)
Rurouni Kenshin (friend has 'em, so we ripped 'em)
Cowboy Bebop
And... that's about it. Not much of a collector, though I'm definately open to suggestions. I've got the hdd space, hehe. ;)

I probably have (or at least HAD) episodes 1 and 2 of just about all the series that Kane has. If I like those first one or two, I'll pursue getting the rest of the series. I think anime is basically the same as most other multimedia entertainment - some is good, some is great, but most is average or crappy. Because of that, I only get the full series of the ones I really really enjoy.

Are you sure you are not confusing Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko with Space Battleship Yamato? No group has finished subbing Yamamoto Yohko to my knowledge, and it is still unlicensed.

wouldn't have been so bad if it had actual racing in it for more than 5 minutes; fanservice doesn't quite work in Initial D in the first place ;P
Couldn't help but think the only good part were the last 3 seconds in the end credits.

...the only other "funny" anime I've seen recently, was Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo ....although the word "funny" hardly describes it. It's more like a "pure-crazy--anything-goes--nothing-sacred" category. :eyemove:
Make that two... my average of anime series I watch per year is with a lot of effort: 3. Not that I don't like it... I just don't have DSL (and an unlimited DVD burner like Kane's) :P
Ah!! ...another prime candidate for the "Royal Sceptre of Extreme Anime Deprivation". :D

Aye. Converted more than a couple of people using the random insanity of the first couple of eps.

>Kane, did you see initial d extra stage? It's easily the worst in the series, IMO.... ;P
I started to watch it and I just thought 'Where is Takumi? How can this be Initial D without Takumi?' Asides it was boring as hell, dunno how the recipe for succcess messed up there.
IMO Mako's boobs + privates in the bathtub scene = Extra Stage teh win

...is that so ? ...I didn't know that other people favor that kind of crazy stuff, too !! :D
...and to think that I stumbled upon it (the manga, that is), completely by accident about a year ago !!
...as soon as I learned that there was an anime too, I just felt compelled to watch it !! :D

Update on currently watching:
- Mai Hime (I should have started watching that as soon as it started.... you can't go wrong when it's a Sunrise production I guess :))
-Magical Girl Lirical Nanoha: What seemed as a girlish spin over from Sakura turned out to be quite a nice series with a more or less surprising story and nice charaters... I'm glade my sis started downloading this and I was bored one day when I decided to watch ep 1 :p
- Fantastic Children: Don't let the lousy art get you. Once you watch half of ep1 you will be inmersed into the very good story and fantastic (no pun intended :p) charaters this series have. A little reminiscencing of Full Metal Alchemist in the way the characters are developed (just a little), but up to ep 14 everything has been flawlessly developed
-Monster (I wonder what took me so long to pick this one up)
-Legend of the Galactic Heroes (a 80's series that I can't believe I had missed....again ddon't let the outdated art and animation get you, behind it there is an epic story that may surpass the other bigs of its genre like Juuni Kokki)
-Mahou Sensei Negima: Not so impressive first chapters... the manga seems a lot better.
-Air: Quite good for its first two chapters but so far it's nothing impressive
-Tsukuyomi: The series strangely hops between pseudo eechi and violent dark (a la elfen lied but not that violent)... so I don't know wheter to like it or hate it...
Already finished:
Rozen Maiden (by the creators of Madlax and Noir.... pretty good if you ask me but again it's nothing special)
Piano: A calm, refreshing series, that revolves the normal life of a normal student, but the execution is marvelous even if the setting isn't that impressive at first. Quite a nice change of pace you ask me. Similar to Maria sama ga miteru
Tsukihime: Hmmm.... at first I absolutely liked this series but at the end it went a litte (not to much) downhill.... it's still worth seeing.
- Da Capo: A combination between Trigun's drastic change of type, Love Hina for the first half, KGNE for the last one.... a little clichèd but it's not that bad...

>- Mai Hime (I should have started watching that as soon as it started.... you can't go wrong when it's a Sunrise production I guess :))
The Manga is also good.... and completely different (same characters, same premise, totaly different story)
>-Mahou Sensei Negima: Not so impressive first chapters... the manga seems a lot better.
Indeed. Tha series relies too much on fanservice, and it's quite poor. Aditionaly, the animation, the voice acting, the music and the adaption of the story is cack. Dropped. I'll stick with the Manga.
>-Air: Quite good for its first two chapters but so far it's nothing impressive
Not really feeling it ATM. It may get better, but if no improvment in the next ep, I might drop it.
>-Tsukuyomi: The series strangely hops between pseudo eechi and violent dark (a la elfen lied but not that violent)... so I don't know wheter to like it or hate it...
Yes, at times it seems like a kids show, but then there's that violence which takes it away. I'm sticking with it as it's quite fun.
>-Magical Girl Lirical Nanoha: What seemed as a girlish spin over from Sakura turned out to be quite a nice series with a more or less surprising story and nice charaters... I'm glade my sis started downloading this and I was bored one day when I decided to watch ep 1 :p
I've added this to my list on another reccommendation, but it'll be a while before I get to see it.
Additionaly Others I'm watching:
-Ah! My Goddess. Another adaption of the same story: Improved animation and drawing out the story from 6 OVA eps to a long TV series. Looks quite good so far if a little slow.
-Gakuen Alice. Cutesey and fun so far. I really enjoyed the first few eps. The characters are quite interesting esp.
-Genshiken. Story about Otakus. Witty and funny.
-Gundam SEED Destiny. Not as good as the original GS (in fact makes the original series feel a little worthless), but not bad, and given that's it's Gundam I'm just waiting for the sudden drastic plot twists to kick in.
-Sakigake!! Cromartie High. No one finished subbing the Boys side of Azumanga Daioh (that's kinda what it feels like) which is drawn in an old-school deliquent manga style. Hilarious from start to finish.
-School Rumble. Well taken from the Manga. Hilarious random hilarity/love story.... no idea who's gonna end up with who tho.
-Sensei no Ojikan. Goddamn it! Another hilarious series that stalled. Maybe a bit too yaoi for some tastes but another school comedy series.
-SunaBouzu. Post apocalyptic bounty hunter. Think Hokuto-no-ken's Kenshiro Ken turning into Gokudo and you're on the right track.
-Yakitate Japan. Fun, but the Manga is far far better.

Yeah, I've read it as well... while inferior to the anime IMO It isn't bad at all.... just a little too rushed eechii for my tastes :p

just like to add a few things:
-samurai shamploo: a great anime! i really liked the setting and the characters. to bad they cant evolve the main plot.
-neon genesis evangelion: that's one hell of an anime.. first few eps were ok but later on the anime gets really frustrating and hard to watch.. i'll soon watch the two films.. are they any good?
-monster: i watch it too. i just love it. i downloaded the first 3 eps without knowing anything about the anime and it turned out to be a good idea. the thing i like about it are the characters: they are so different from each other and the stories that are told to the very bits.

All of them dvdrips. My policy on anime is watch it when you're bored at home. I can't stand otaku wannabe-japanese freaks who make anime their life, insist on adding kun/chan/san/sama suffixes to their names and speak in an incredibly irritating mix of Japanese and English. :cuss2:

I suppose I'm a tad late, but here's my anime list:
Rurouni Kenshin 1-95
Rurouni Kenshin both OVAs
Love Hina 1- 26(still missing a few of the specials)
Love Hina Again 1-3
Trigun 1-26
Neon Genesis Evangelion 1-26 << New fav. anime
Neon Genesis Evangelion - EoE
Kinda small I guess =\
Currently contemplating what series I will watch next. I was thinking Bowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, or Peacemaker. Any suggestions? I also hear that Full Metal Alchemist is good, so it's really up in the air at this point.

Bebop or FMA.
Peacemaker wasn't great, and Outlaw Star was also a little lacking. Samurai Champloo instead of Peacemaker and Lost Universe instead of Outlaw Star.

Outlaw star had the characters though, gene is so kewl!! :)
Peacemaker sucked imo, I stoped around 8 cause I just couldnt stand the bordom.
