It's from an anime called Mouse. I ripped it using Virtualdub and PSP.

You can also use powerdvd with the screencapture button to take a quick shot of the frame. Just a suggestion.

okay it's been a year since i joined NGEmu, so... my avatar and sig has chaned.

my avatar is now megaman, from the megaman battle networks... and my sig... is my new sig...

Both PowerDVD and WinDVD, you can step each frame to get the one you want aswell. Works really well for maiking 30FPS GIFs. They tend to get really huge like that though.

Ah, animated gifs. This is where VirtualDub combined with Jasc animation studio excels. JAS can open AVIs, so if you slect a portion of the avi you want from Virtualdub and save it as a smaller file, you can then use JAS to edit it to your preferences.

Just use the eraser tool (PS7) and save as gif.

The blue part is supposed to be there, and yes I know about the eraser :P. Magic Wand and the Cut function works too, and alot faster then the eraser does. Just have to remeber to set the canvas transparent by default. I forgot to do that, plus when I fixed it forgot to upload the fixed version. Sue me, I was watchin hockey at the same time, and it was a powerplay!

There is a file size and dimension limit on sigs (which I hasten to add, you have exeeded) which is 500x100x30kb, or if hosted by NGemu, 500x80x20kb.
Avatars are limited by the forum software.

Current Dimensions are 500x100x24bit . I think the ones using NGEmu's Sig upload feature is 500x80 or something .
Also filesize is 25k i think .

I don't like png type picture to be inside the signature, try changing to jpg, it takes lesser space

Not true. The same Image in png is 14k, whilst the jpeg version is higher at 26.2k.
