I have to love hushy's comment on replkacing your warezed version, well I do believe the upgrade from 7 to 9 is liek 130 bucks these days, photoimpact which unless your creating something from scratch with little or no external images is fine i think is like 90 bucks for the full whatever version. Its more for editing photos

I did my sig in ulead photoimpact version 4 like 8 years ago.

There on like 10 or 11 now!
Its nothign more then a texture overlay on a laser font with a for lack of a better term "3d top to bottom over a pipe curve" and then a light source with some dull metallic shading... as i said like 8 years ago. Some shapes and overlays in the background could have given it a photoshoped feel but i wasnt that good and the software barley was.

Basically from what I read it's most of the more well known Marvel Characters (Silver Surfer, Hulk, Captain America, Spiderman, Wolverine, Dare Devil, Dr. Doom etc...) as zombies. It's about the heroes in an alternate world where an alien virus mutated all of them into flesh-eating zombies :p Because these books are always sold out at my comic stores, and I have yet to read one! BUT - judging from the reviews te comics are laced with jokes and funny instances and are also pretty gory! I think i'll just have to pick up the whole series on ebay sometime soon! The art style really attracted me to these ones.

i think if you take it down a few frames you'll be able to fit it...

I took about a little less than half of the frames out and reduced the amount of colors so I was able to knock it down to about 12kb. Any more optimization and it will start looking bad.

I usually put my name in the avatar so it will take a little bit longer for someone to steal the avatar (I've had it happen before). They would have to edit it and then upload it online again. If I didn't put the name on it, all someone has to do is just link to the url to where it's hosted at. But I'll take it out to spare the few extra kbs.

Ok, I've got your avatar done. I had to make it 50% smaller, remove half of the frames, and reduce the colors to 28 just so I could make it under 10kb. Damn avatar size limit! At least give us up to 20kb. Anyways, here's the edited version. It's about as big as your current avatar. The first one is for the NGemu background color, the second has a white matte for a white background, and the third one has a transparent matte for any forum color but it has blocky edges but it's probably not that noticable when it's that small. Hope one of them works for you.

Well did a new Metal Slug sig, but suprise! the initial version was too big for the forum rules, clocking in at a whopping 44.53 kB (45602 bytes). So it was time to trim frames, with some of my own trimming, mixed in with GiGaHeRz's further trimming and colour reduction it now is 'forum legal' at 24.1 kB (24679 bytes)!

Those are really cool CK. Good work. You can't even really tell that you've optimized your sig. I guess the only real difference is the trees in the background, but it's not really noticeable unless you compare it side by side with the original.

I Chose the Anti-TCPA for my sig, after hearing about it in another thread and then reasearching what it was, I'll be opening a thread in open Discussion for discussion on the subject.

This is the first time I'm using an avatar on this forum, got it off the cloud nine web design site in the free avatars section, it's a hand drawn anime avatar, which is basically what that website contains.

Btw, if my sig is too big, Please let me know, and I'll choose a smaller version. I don't know what the maximum limit in size is for a sig on this forum.;)

no, but it has a cloned name...it's LFS (Live for Speed), which I had avatars/sigs of before...
While the name resembles NFS, is actually more of a simulation game.

I can see just from the sig picture that it's nothing like NFS... but then agan i hear underground and most wanted are both 900% deviating from the sweet old style of the games.
but the car in your sig/ava looks a bit too cartoonish, too "sort-of" cubish with no reflections.

I have been designing some tattoo-ish forms lately and I wanted to put one in my sig space (now being wasted).

The nicer one didn't fit the forum limits (at H=130, it didn't even reach w=300, without breaking the aspect ratio) so I had to make a new one.
