Good idea.

Updated the image on my website based off the orignal too. Pity JPG doesn't support transparency. Gradients eat up space.

I have to say APS makes it a lot easier to cut stuff out. PSP is alright, but always ends up with annoying outlines. APS cuts out better, and can mask imprefections with borders

Here is an awesome little extension for firefox called ColorZilla. It puts a little eyedropper tool at the bottom left cornor of your status bar and allows you to get any color hex you want in seconds without the hassel of pasting stuff into photoshop and using the eyedropper tool. Great for getting sig background colors :D

That's simply down to png palette compression. It produces a better quality than JPG at a similar size, so I ain't complaining, and the difference is minimal

It's all about tweaking. PNG never gives the correct colors for me it seems, and the bg color for you is off. if you use the correct settings gif can look just as good ;) Especially since your signature is so minimal. But to each his own ...

No it's the right color the problem is the lightning effect i should remove it.
