Wipeout came before F-Zero GX though :pMaybe before GX, but the new Wipeout didn't and the original F-zero was out before wipeout. And i would prefer wipeout over F-zero if it actually had some challenge. F-zero GX has some major challenges that no racing game can compare to.

WipeOut's challenge came in beating Time Trial lap times. WipeOut XL, I remember playing in Time Trial mode for 3 hours with my buddy trying to one-up each other on a certin track. The winter track (Sigmasara or something like that) we got the times down to just under 18 seconds. It took us a year of off and on challenges every few months to get it under that time, my time of 17.6 seconds held him at bay for nearly a year. He got 17.4 seconds, and that time held for about a year. I got back on it in ePSXe one day and obliterated his lap time with a 16.4, a full second off his best ever time. He was not happy. That was 2 years ago, and he still hasn't gone any fater then 17.4 seconds.

Never have we done that with any of the F-Zero series.

ED: Oh yah, made a new sig, just thaught the Escalade in Midnight Club III was kinda cool looking, so made a simple one with it.

Good work on the gradient. I dunno if you meant this but his gun or whatever is over the border, and on the left the border has a little spec of white on it. You should play around with the bevels more, otherwise it looks good.

Like Razor Blade, i'm not crazy about the yellow glow either. Looks.. out of place? Maybe if it was smaller, with a little spread and a different color, it would look better. And is it me, or is the text aliased (vs. anti-aliased)? Just my 2 pokos.

And, i changed my avatar, but being stupid I couldn't think of a good signature that could match it, so it's still the same old WP sig, for now. It's only 8kb and it's in the limits - who's complaining? :)

EDIT: Fixed the avatar margin (?) around the person so there would be less space around it.

Heh, Stifmeist says he is bad at photoshop, but I know he will get better so I just throw ideas and opinions right at him. No sugar coating ;) If you look at his progress he has come quite a long way and is always getting better. :)

i like it, the cut down the middle gives the background more character, and the metallic colouring fits well with the space soldier theme :p the blue glow is also a lot better than yellow ;)

I love you too. :p My night elf is awesome, though tragically lost trying to find the human stronghold from the dwarven fortress that seems to be surrounded by monsters that like nothing more than to rip me to pieces. :( This is the best MMO ever. And...sniffles...I've run into so many players there who dislike or hate Final Fantasy. I'm...I'm in heaven. :p

I'm not a big fan of the styles, zen_master. Although maybe there was something in addition to them that I'm missing out on, considering I check this thread once every month or two. :p

CS has a few more goodies like Text-on-path. More filters and a new way to view them also. PS7 is as good as CS for making sigs :p

the thing is that each new version of ps is slower at doing things because it has to be compatible with previous versions, and cs, having a huge library of useless crepes installed probably takes up more space :p

IIRC, Photoshop CS is written in C# (CSharp)... you can think it's simply Photoshop 8.0
