u don't seem to get it do u SzL. other members sig's may be over 100+, but at least they don't look humongous unlike yours.

The point is that admins give members quite a bit of slack. Like a few kb over and some pixels too. ;) Asking for a 60kb sig and a 91 height increase is a little too much to ask for. :p

offsite hosted is a little more... for now height is temporarily capped at 500x100x20 for onsite hosted... and about 150 offsite though i think its gonna go down to 130 later... soon enough it will be reinforced quite a bit more easily but until then these limits are what im reinforcing

You could do a jpg with a matte color the same as this forum's background Meaning that you leave it transparent where it's supposed to be transparent, go to Save for Web, and choose the Matte color 193048. Everything Transparent will be filled with that color. Then mess with image size and quality percentage, and look at the file size in the lower left corner and the optimized example before saving.

thats way too large (especially the one youre not actually using) youre gonna have to make it smaller too

well it was too big so you have to resize it, the filesize was 40 over the limit so you have to lower the quality...so you pretty much end up with something like this. I suggest you do something simpler next time

hm... i keep all my sigs i make in psd files in a folder of mine, if you have your sig still in a psd you can just resize it and replace the scanlines... i guess you can keep it up until you make a new one... just dont take too long

Your sig is 336.78418 KB. THE MAX IS 20 KB TYVM. My sig is only 8839 bytes, which is 8.63184 KB.

this the 3rd time ( or 4th?) your sig image gets removed. I think you should get the idea now, its not only the dimensions of the sig, its the SIZE ( read: no more than 20 Kb)

Thanks ChaosBlade. I'm not really that pleased with it though, gonna replace the avatar as soon as someone guesses who it is, and I might make some little changes to the sig aswell.

Av was done in 3 mins, and still not right. Sig was done in 9 mins.

Here's the other 2 I made from similar (but better) source material. In fact, here are all 3. I'll forget the silly who's who gig. Current one is Predaking (poor source material), the dino is Grimlock, and the one with red breastplate is Sideswipe. All came from Hasbro's art.

Yeah, I agree about Sideswipe, although I'll be making more as more original art is delivered to me. Attached two new ones. Jazz and Kickback (insecticon). I think I still like Sideswipe's picture the best.

What I like most about this one is the theme: Optimus Prime vs Megatron. The complete picture is one of my favorite TF Artworks. This is just a small part of it. However, I don't like the style of this sig as a whole too much.

What I like artistically more is this.

But the theme of Metroplex vs Tripticon doesn't thrill me as much as the other one. However, I won't apply these effects on the other one, as I think it's a waste of detail on Prime and Megatron.

In photoshop you can also change the hue/saturation (Ctrl+u) and hit colorize.

well theres no point in sending the PSD as there are just 2 layers. one with the cropped pic and the other with my name. like i said before iam really bad at image editing :p actually i seem to have lost/deleted the PSD :hdbash: but i still have the image. ill attach it here. it shouldn't take you guys too long to duplicate my sig :thumb:

though a nice sig...it is still above the size limit in both aspects. i don't realy care about the pixels but ngemu's limit (with leniancy) is probably around 30-35kb and yours is 50, so here's a optimized version.

Does it have the same filename as the 50k version? It's probably the result of caching by the browser. That's how I have all of my sigs as well as others' sigs I host setup. The web server tells the browser to cache the images for 7 days before it requests a new version. So, I end up saving in bandwidth. :)

Here we go again, the outer glow standard configs :p Kinda like your personal ™ already. On the one hand, thats a good thing, on the other one ...it looks ugly. Why don't you set the glow higher in size and depth (sharpness) and in black. It would look more comic *cough* manga like.

Nah you dont start maxed out, thats why i said ignore and own! First ignore, then own ;) Takes like 1/2 month traning 5 housr per day to get a skill at 100%! Luckly i'm already 100% at most important fighting skills, Blade Weapons, Magery, Resist Magic, Shieldfighting, Healing, Archery, Tatics and some creature lore for some steeds that have bonus at dodge! Also im a pretty good pvper :evil: :evil: ! Just so you see! I stoped playing like 6 months ago and gave everything away! No that i came back like 2 months ago i only needed the magic reagents and started killing everyone with good armour :p

Also you dont need much traning to start owning! just get 70% Magery and 50% resist magic and you can own alot! You need however to max out your stats but that doesnt take long

nope, radeon 9500 pro, its still a quite good card, 128 megs of ram, nice speeds, havent had ANY slowdowns with it yet
