You may wanna try to turn up your video card's brightness or gamma a bit then Strider, if your monitor is maxed out already. My monitor is fairly dark by defualt aswell, but I just turn it up in my driver settings and its much better then.

Thx :) The funny thing is, the wing looks bloody detailed (in fact, the original one I did is even more) but it consist basically of five layers, two fixed and three which are duplicated again and again ;)

well... there are some minor changes in the GUI, but the big changes are in the way the tools are used (for example, in gimp 1.2.x, you could add a gradient to the font just by selecting the text and painting it with the gradient.... now the process is a bit more complicated, as you need to use layer masking to do that now, but the results are much, much better......)

so i say, wait a bit and get version 2.0.0.... it works great ;)

Toriyama made mine for me, and I do like it a lot too. But I'm really wanting a red mage one right now... I've only made one sig in my life and it wasn't great at all let me go see if I can find it....

well i was playing with photoshop all day and i came up with this new sig and av. the sig is a big improvement from my previous one though it still dosen't match the qlty of the sigs here. i love chrono archangel's sig. well its a learning process and iam learning alot :D Valcrist this sig is for you :thumb: thats the entire cast of Seven Samurai 20XX.

adobe photoshop ofcourse, psp is simpler, its easier to use for people without much experience, but photoshop is still 10 steps higher on the ladder

Just to let you know the limits are 500x120 and 20kb. Now the rules can be bent a little if it was shorter width and a little higher eight and maybe a few kb over but other than that the rules are pretty steep. ;)

ok, my signature about that so I'm ok, the one I had before was like 89kb. and 600x200, Strider banned it, of course but at that point I did not know. I ask you the limit because Strider did not tell me.

Well it is still almost 52kb which is more than double the limits. ;) So you have to change that to a more reasonable size limit ok. Other than that it seems alright.

Yeah I change it, the problem is that I saved it fast and I did not notice that was in bmp (24 bit map) to Jpeg but is still 50.2 kb, anyway to make it smaller without resizing it or losing color?????

All's I did was ij Photshop, g to File Save as for Web ... Then you can mess with settings. Like formats like gif, jpg, png etc ... And quality, colors and all that. You get to see how big the file size will be at the bottom left corner of the window. :) Also use the edit button :p

nope :p
the magic wand in your case wouldnt work since your character is almost the same color as your background. also the text would hard to cut out using an easy way. id suggest the polygonal tool to cutout what you want. it shouldnt take more then 5-10 mins to cut out what you want

Well, if it is in the upper left, then it must be the signature separator you are talking about... else it looks jaggy and all, but it is because it is a Jpeg

well, thats not what i meant at all :p
first off, the ngemu sig upload has preset limits... but, for offsite linked sigs there are no exact limits that we have defined.. hence it becomes a judgement call each time i see a sig... then theres also the issue, is height such an important factor if filesize is still low... anyways, its really annoying not being able to point to a rule, and having to explain it everytime... im not as strict as elly about it but i do agree that we gotta have some limits cept i think the problem is apathy :p
