I get a strange error when I try to run Street Fighter Alpha 3. After the dreamcast logo, chankast gives me an error called "IOControl". I'm not sure what it means but I checked the compatibility list and the game has been run successfully before it seems. I'll try and include a screenshot.

but if its an image try to mount it on daemon tools 3.29 and if the problen isnt solved then your copy of the game is the reason get an unpatched version
same problem happend to me with capcpm vs snk2 couldnt do anything

The game is an .NRG (nero) image. Why do you suggest I use an older version of Daemon Tools though? I'm currently using 3.46.

because people have reported having problems with later versions, that were solved with 3.29. Anyways, trying won't hurt ;) . Or make sure to activate all the emulation options.

This may be stupid but...

Why would you try to play this game on chankast when there is a 100% working one on cps2 :eyemove:

Heh, ya I'm fully aware that I can get a version of this game for my arcade emulator. But this is one of the few Dreamcast games I have to test on Chankast with. Things still arn't working out though so I might not bother with the dreamcast version anymore.

Or on PSOne ;)

PSOne? Hah no. I read somewhere that the PSOne is not very good with 2D fighting games. I think the best version would probabaly be the dreamcast or arcade version. I've played the CPS2 version and it's excellent.
