Use ISObuster or Alcohol. If you bothered using the search function, then you would have found your answer sooner.

umm...you cant use ISObuster or Alcohol120% or any program actually to make an ISO of a dreamcast game. the GD-ROM cant be read by a regular DVD-ROM or CD-Rom drive ;)

if your games are cds then u can simply use a normal cd writing program
like nero, clonecd ,disk jugler ....
but your image whatever the format is needs to be converted into a selfbootable image use fast boot and just follow the instructions in the read me file of the program
u may not need to make an image if u use fastboot try the program and u'll understand

I'm upset that anyone even answered this. It's a flat out lie if you want me to believe you "looked around", because if you even tried, you'd see that two pages into this forum, is another 5 kajillion threads asking the same question. Seriously, it's getting out of hand. I think the moderators should take a lesson from a page in the Strong Bad handbook... you know, what he does when people ask him "How do you manage to type with boxing gloves on?" Or, take one of the threads, and sticky it.

To clarify what everyone else said, if you have the original game that you bought out of a real, legit store, you can't use that in your computer. Sorry. Disc drives can't read Dreamcast discs. However, if you come across a game burned onto a CD somehow, you can use that. OR, if you have a real dreamcast and shell out X amount of money for a coder's cable or broadband adapter and enough know-how to use them, you'll be able to transfer the game onto your hard drive. But then you have to make the game selfbootable, and then burn it onto a CD-R.

In short, I wouldn't expect to be using those GD-ROMs for much if I was you.

yeah but your games wont be CDs....this is in the CHANKAST FORUM so we assume he's talking about dreamcast games---which come on GD-ROMS and in that case you'll need to actually dump the game through a BBadapter or dev cable.

There's a lot more than 2 pages. From the main page of the chankast forum, click the next page link twice, and you'll see 3 threads dealing with this subject on the page you end up at. Go ahead and click on "booting discs", "???", or. "GDRom to Image". Do it. I dare you. (and someone in one of those threads also complained that a hojillion people had already asked the same thing.)

I assumed he was speaking about CDRs , not GDroms....-_-;;

Isn't it easier to download DC game from net? (a copy of game, that you have at home, of course the original one) i think that it won't be illegal, much easier, not allways faster :)

No, you are allowed to make an image of YOUR copy of the game, not to download the image of another copy someone did. Downloading it is, thus, ilegal, and won't be discussed here ;) .
