Welcome. We've recently created this forum, in order to allow people to post about the latest happenings in the scene, in case they aren't posted on the mainpage yet.

Before you post, there're some things you should keep in mind however, which are :
Check that the news hasn't been posted before by anyone - this can be kinda annoying
Check that it's really something new, and not a weeks old event
You can attach big files when you're in a certain user group (+200 posts). Otherwise, just post a link to the file
There're two possibilities to post as well ... either you leave a short description + link, or you write a complete post. When you choose the second one, it's possible we just use the same one for NGEmu, of course giving you proper credit for it.

Thanks for your assistance,

maybe if it has something significant do with emulation, like a new directx release, or something like that tool Direct Control which aids 3dfx users in the pj64 antics, but isn't strictly bound to the "emulation news" topic.

ask Bobbi anywayz, but that is my own personal view on the matter ;)

thanks for the info.

I got another question:
is it ok to post misc emulation news here?
As fivefeet8 stated here (http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10502) .
ngemu didn't do news other than PSX, N64, Sarturn, Dreamcast and GBA. I m just curious.

:nono: Please people, can we keep non-emu related news outta here. driver releases and tweak programs ok, but Style XP news hardly belongs in here

I have noticed people still posting news that has already been posted on the main page or in some other threads.
I would suggest these people to first use search feature to check whether the news has been posted or not and then post.

Btw. No one can claim that he/she doesnt checks the main page coz any news that has been posted on main page also appears in the forums under "News Comments" category.

The only problem with that is that the "news comments" category is not listed on the emuforums main page. The only way to access it is via the search function or from the ngemu news page. It might be better if it were visable....
