Everytime I start Chankast my bios reverts to its default settings; spanish language, wrong time in 1998... Is there a way to apply the proper settings and save them?

Yes, click right on the files dc_flash.bin and dc_bios.bin then disable "read only".

Mine does too and those dc_flash.bin and dc_bios.bin files are not read only.

BTW you can't keep the time because when you turn off chankast, the bios isn't used (it's logical!), but who cares about time ??
Chrisrpg32, are these files in the same directory as Chankast ?
Maybe your files are corrupted so you should replace them...

well u need to get again the dc_bios.bin and dc_flash.bin it would be solved by setting the files to read only but is just safer to get again those files

Hello, right after I posted this thread I realized the files were read only, so now I got the language to stay in English, but like everyone else, I get prompted to adjust the time everytime I start Chankast.

hey, i'm having the same problem, but instead of just when i start it up, it restarts to the time settings everytime i start any game. all my games worked on .2, so it isn't the games with the problem.

As * Lady and I said, you need to get again the 2 files.

Your problem is very strange, I had this issue but after having replaced the files, it disappeared. ;)
It must come from the bios.
Are you running on winXP ?
What game are you trying ?
