View Full Version : I am a novice and have a question...

Well, my favorite game in the world right now is Kingdom Hearts. I was hoping to find something that can allow me to view the cutscenes contained therein. You know, just to where I can view them without taking up 20 slots on my memory card.

BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER, I MUST INFORM ALL OF YOU THAT I DO NOT INTEND TO MAKE ANY COMERCIAL AND/OR PROFITABLE GAIN FROM THIS! I DON'T EVEN INTEND TO LET THESE LEAVE MY COMPUTER IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM!

Okay, with that said, I will continue. I tried a program called PS2Play or something like that, but it couldn't read the files (they have the extensions .irx, .img, .idx, .70, and one was something called a SpeedDial), so I couldn't do anything. What am I missing?

If this is a taboo subject, just close this topic and have that be the end of it.

The Kingdom Hearts videos are apparently not stored in files. They seem to be stored at hidden locations, like with FFX. I asked the same question before and I still haven't gotten an answer. So, it seems that there is no way at the moment. Unless someone feels like doing some hexing and finding the video files.

the videos need decoding from within files, currently i dont know of any programs that can do that with ps2 games so your kind of at a loose end.

Wasn't there a program called KH2AVI or something. Search the forums; iirc it was discussed about a year or so ago.

Well, I tried searching the forums for kh2avi, but no results. I tried searching for kh (shorthand for Kingdom Hearts), but it wouldn't accept something that short. I looked through most of the board manually, but found nothing. I searched on Google and found nothing. Are there any suggestions or should I give up?

Actually the thread regarding the program was only a page ago. Anyways there is a program but it only works for the Jap version of KH (Final Mix iirc). If your connection is fast enough you can download the movies from a p2p program or a website.

I did a google search and I found a website that has the Intro and Secret Ending (Deep Dive/Another Side, Another Story).
