anyways patent agencies are so... screwed up these days... next thing you know we'll all be paying royalties to the us for "inventing the internet"

This idea is nothing new. People like Steve Mann (http://wearcam.org/mann.html) had suggested it before. It's all about redundancy in the power systems of wearable electronic devices (so you don't need a separate battery for each tiny device) and the sharing of parts that are redundant in function.

There's prior art... haven't you ever shocked someone with static electricity by accident? Power conduit. What if it wasn't by accident? Data conduit.

uhh proper term on the patent was "data bus" not "data conduit" I just shortened the statement so that it would fit into the subject space ^^ my anal old self sorry.

wow, this just doesn't make the patent system look like a joke.... :rolleyes:

this is nothing new... why microsoft got the patent is beyond me
