Well to start I used to use Nemu and PJ64 and they both made all my roms run extremely slow but when I ran 1964 it ran at around 60 fps constantly however after a peroid of time the gameplay started getting jerky for no apparant reason. I restart 1964 and it does an illegal operation and crashes the computer resulting in a restart.

Another thing ... some of the textures are messed up for example in 'Ocarina of time' at the start when Link is asleep the background textures show up as a load of planes converging into the centre of the screen however main gameplay isn't really affected by this.

I'm using a GeForce Fx5200 128mb PCI gfx card and 512 mb of ram with 700mhz Intel Celeron.

If anyone else has a similar problem and knows how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it, thanks in advance...

Do you have any background processes running that uses the hard drive at a certain time, like a auto-defrag program?

Not that I'm very well known with N64 emulation, but what version of DirectX do you have? I've got that problem in games when I used DirectX 7:rolleyes:
