Chanka or Chankast

Is chanka and chankast the same emulator or not. And if so why does it have two names.

for the quality of its emulation it worths as many names as the authors want :P
i think it was chanka and they made it chankast at the release.

afaik, chanka is the name of their group, while chankast is the name of the emu...

oh right... is the emulator any good, like I have seen screenies but then i have seen screenies of PCSX2 but thats only the best bits of it. And usually bthe game doesnt fully work (but lets not go into that).

works pretty good for a first release. Lots of little problems of course, but there are a number of games that run at very playable speeds.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Yeah DOA2 is my fav game on Playstation 2, cant wait for PCSX2 to support that, my fav character is jann-lee.

It will take some time until Pcsx2 gets good enough to emulate games at
a desent speed...

Err.. I would be willing to bet that within a few (if not the next) Chankast will run DOA2.
