I'm running Windows 2000 and Windows XP 64-bit Edition. Neither of these OSes boot games. I know what I have works because it boots fine on my dad's Windows XP computer. I tried copying a few dlls but after some disassembling, cd_rom.dll seems to pose a problem: it imports from kernel32.dll. :(

For what I read so far, Chankast will only work on Windows XP and Windows 2003 server.
Windows XP and Windows 2000 may look the same, but they are different operating systems.

Moved, this has nothing to do in news submissions.

windows xp 64 bit... do you have a 64 bit processor?
Chankast was built on a 32bit processor (im guessing) and so its doubtful it can support the 64bit instructions at this time.

Nope, some guy got it to work under Win2k.

You forget that the 64-bit OS for the Athlon machines has a 32-bit emulation layer. No 32-bit programs I have don't run on XP-64. 16-bit ones, on the other hand... :)
It's not the 64-bitness that is the reason it won't run, it's something else and it's really odd.
