One of Pete's plugins, dependant on the graphics card: On board graphics other than the geForce: PEOPs Soft GPU, perhaps Pete's D3D6 Old Dx6 hardware (Ati Rage, etc): Pete's D3D Mainstream Dx7 hardware and above (geForce/Radeon): Pete's OpenGL 1.x Mainstream Dx9 hardware (geForce FX/Radeon 9500 and above): Pete's OpenGL 2.xObviously this list is my own opinion.
For sound? Eternal or PEOPs SPU
For CD-Rom? Xeven's or PEOPs CDR

Just a note, but if your CPU is lacking(below 1.5 mhz or a Celeron) I would'nt use Pete's OpenGL 2.xx but use Pete's OpenGL1.xx. Simply because you'll get alot of annoying slowdowns with some games. And for the CD plugin I've personal found if you use Epsxe the internel cd-plugin works just as good as Xevens (I guess alot depends on what cd drive you use.). And for the sound I use Eternal over PEOPs becuase to me, Peops emulates more sounds correctly but has a tendency to sound almost "metallic" to me.
