well after 2 painfully long weeks its finally here :D lets use this thread to discuss the qualifying sessions and ofcourse the race. BTW Jenson Button and Takuma Sato of BAR have got the fastest lap-times in the second practice session. Overall Michael Schumacher is still the fastest though.

Yeah but F1 is kinda boring last few years because of ferrari,or should say schumachers domination, especially this year,3 wins in a row, there's no need to watch, you know who'll win.

Yeah I agree F1 is a pale shadow of what it used to be, San marino I allways prefered before they changed the track so much after Sennas death.
I used to watch it all the time in the early 90's and it was lots more exciting back then due to the battles between the greats like Prost, Senna (best ever) and Mansell etc I mean who can forget the time senna took himself & prost out to make sure he won the season, or the pics of prost & mansell allmost touching wheels flat out on a straight away, and the lap in the wet when senna went through the field in just one lap, you just dont see that anymore but I expect I'll watch the race & cheer on Button as he's the uk's greatest hope at the minute.

I am a big F1 fan myself. I hope barrichelo does well this year. He has been living under the shadow of Shoemaker (Thats what I call him).
Button looked promising in last two races but real fight is yet to start. I hope williams and mclarens pick up some big points and yes alonso is quite a talent.

Yeah i know what you mean. the guy seems to get all the bad luck too. its always his car that screws up first.

Anyways great news for JAZ. the qualifying results are in. Jenson Button gets the pole position. The first of his career :thumb: Michael Schumacher is second and Juan Pablo Montoya is third.

iam surprised to see Ralf Schumacher in the lineup. i thought he was banned for this race.

Yup ,good news ,breaking the schumacher's domination,I just hope he'll be able to win the race, that would be a refreshment.

Yeah go Button :)
Not long to go till the race now, I hope either Button or Montoya does good & beats Schumacher.
Montoya is a bit of a dissapointment as I thought he had the talent to take the championship when he first arrived in F1 but I think he's getting discouraged due to his on/off form.
Button is certainlly looking good but is he too inexperianced to keep his nerve for the whole season & be a real threat to Micheal?
Micheal would have beat Button for the pole except for the little mistake at the end of his qualifying lap..

well surprise surprise Schumi wins again  thats 4 wins out of 4 races now. Button was second and Montoya third. well it wasn't such a boring race after all. sure schumi stormed off to the win but there were many overtaking moves and wheel to wheel driving. Schumi is just too good, they might-as-well hand over the next race's trophy in advance :p

Jeppee... Raikkonen finally finished... I think F1 has been boring for a long time, it's like this, schumi, schumi, schumi and oh schumi again!!! There is really no mind of watching it...

Damn, and he made another shoe.

Fine race indeed. I wasted two hours for it even though I have exams on 28th and 30th April. Fight between Alonso, Ralf, Trulli and Rubens was really interesting. Michael was lucky in the beginning when Montoya almost took him out of the race.

The 4th victory makes race for championship boring but I think other places will stay really neck and neck .

i wonder if you guys saw the post race press confrence. Montoya openly accused Schumi of pushing him off and also said that he hopes that the FIA will look into the matter. he said all this when Schumi was sitting right next to him !!! :D things sure are heating up.

ah I see. They can't beat him on the track, so they're resorting to lousy tactics? ;P

err actually what Schumi did was illegal. your allowed to block an overtaking move as long as you opponent's car is behind you and not beside you. montoya was beside Schumi when he got pushed onto the grass. i won't be surprised if Schumi gets into trouble for this.
