in an "unusual way" eh? :p You might want to download the emulator again, i'm not sure but it might be having problems with some dll's. Hopefully by starting "clean" it might fix the problem.

Xeven I have tried 3 things 1. delete the emulator thats messed up 2. delete the registry settings and all files relating to your emulator restart the machine to clean it self out 3. searching for the dll's that you mention but can't seem to locate it for some reason....God know's why....sigh what else can I try !? because this really starting to aggreviate the mess out of me if I can't fix it by tomorrow.

Why don't you move on and try another emulator in the meantime?
