I have WindowsNT - Direct Input and DirectSound do not work.

DirectX 7/8 are not compatiable with WindowsNT, thus sound and controller plug-ins that use DirectInput or DirectSound do not function. Are there any sound or input plug-ins for ePSXe that dont use or require DirectX to work?

try using pete's MIDAS spu for sound since it doesn't use direct sound.

Input? your kinda stuck there, untill the authors decide to re-write the input code to support external Controller plugins.

Since NT doesn't support anything over DirectX3 (DX5 for Input) makes it near impossible to configure controllers. I'm not even sure if keyboard controls will even work?

Install all the latest service packs and you will get directx 5 support. Highly recommended, should fix your problems.
