Help!! I'm playin FF9 but i need help
Every 3 minutes or so, the screen turns black except the text boxes... the screen comes back once in awhile lil bit after.. but otherwise i have to rerun the emulator.. is there a way to fix this glitch?? :eek:

Please post a little more information about your system configuration (processor, video card, etc.) and ePSXe settings, such as what plugins you are using and their configurations.

Without this information it is nearly impossible for anyone to help you.

I have a p3 700 128 ram ati rage 128

for this game i'm using pete's d3d driver 1.49

window mode 800x600 32 bit
testure quality - R8 G8 B8 A8
Cacheing type - Dynanic

FPS limit and Auto-detect FPS checked

Off-Screen drawing - 2
Adanced blending - hardware
Framebuffer - Gfx

Color Dithering and Full VRam checked

help plz...

i have the same problem and the same pc- nearly. some graphic problems. did u ever tried another plugin?

I haven't tried using all the diff. plug - ins.. i'm gonna try the diff setting prolly tonite....

Nearly same pc and got the same problem...
If you leave the in-game plug-in menu activated while playing, the screen won't turn black (not sure, quickly tried it this morning)
Did you have this problem with versions before 1.49 ?

try running a version before 1.49 like 1.48 or 1.47.. I think there was some kind of glitch... maybe not...

You know that same problem happens to me when I play Residents Evil 3, where when I open a door sometimes the screen blacks out or takes a while to open a scene.
