I get the following error when loading or attempting to load a *.gcm. [Crazy Taxi 3]
System:
Athlon 2000+
256MB ram
GeForce MX 440
winME
(damn I look forward to my new system in 2 weeks (see sig for new spec))
Yes the GCM is perfect, and yes I have tried the all the options, what few exist. Any ideas people?
(and before you suggest 'daft' things I might of done wrong, note I am a PCSX2 beta tester, so not totally stupid ;) )

I didn't say that-the emu authors did.
Besides, cooliscool has got his emu working and you both have the same vid card.
Maybe its just WinME.

We have only tested the emu on windows 2000 and windows xp so it's possible there could be some issues. Sorry about that but who with a decent computer (and dolphin really needs one, except for maybe bustamove) has anything less than 2000 installed any more? It's just soo much stable and better.

That's a strange one. Do you have DirectX 9b installed?

Well I should slap you around with a trout, but I guess I shall have to wait for my new machine in 2 weeks. Good work btw from what other people are getting (sniff).
Slap your beta testers around abit and get them to try atleast 1 or 2 more OS's ;) :p (/me looks at Falcon4ever)

CKEmu, I dont think you do any PROGRAMMING for PCSX2, but maybe this is the same as my problem, I had DX SDK installed, and was running in Debug mode, solved my problems. I have basically identical hardware to yours (not using ME, hope your are just running that for PCSX2 testing :P)

well, im having a deep trouble here too
When I start dolphin everything is ok.
So, when I enter in any type of game shows up a screen:
"Direct3D device cannot be created" or something like that...
Im with Directx9.0b installed and the ultimate drivers of Nvidia
My spec.:
Athlon XP 1600+
Nvidia GeForce 4 ti 4400
512 ddr
windows XP

Try to run DxDiag. It should be in the directx folder under program files.

Are you sure it's rending using your hardware HAL, and not Software? REF... Check to make sure that it's rendering using your hardware
