Are there any sound plugins that are being developed for PS2 emulators?

Dunno about GiGaHeRz's status, but kanodin and another person are indeed working on a sound plugin, we're currently expecting the first beta for sometime soon :)

I'm not working on it too much, and it isn't going well...
I hope that Kano's attempt will be better...

Yes indeed Me and another person are working on a spu2 plugin, We're running into a few unexpected bugs at the moment and there is also always the time issue involved. We will be going into beta sometime this month (cross your fingers) >>;;


For Giga, Well hopefully we can make you apart of the team soon, so talk to you in a few days about what I pm'd you about.

No, PS2DXA IS a fully functional sound plugin all registers that have been documented and some that haven't been documented are being fully implemented. I'm going to be nice and post two source files for the plugin the others are to come soon. on sourceforge when me and my partner decide to upload them after they're finished of course... the following files spu2.c and registers.h are fully completed enjoy this little sneak peak and once again DO NOT ASK TO BETA TEST all testers have been choosen.

good news! who knows if game fps rate is heavily affected using the current beta of the spu plugin

Uhhh, No spu2 plugin has been released for beta yet. PS2DXA is scheduled for beta release later tonight... but then again it could be postponed the spu2 should have nothing to do with FPS then again i'm in too much pain to care just tore my ACL ligaments today.

wait so the PS2DXA is gonna be released just for beta testing...am i right? are all the sources done or something? BTW tearing ligaments has to hurt really bad. take care dude and its very nice to hear the a working sound plugin to in progress

When released ps2dxa will only be in beta stages to get feedback from a few people instead of releasing it to the masses only to have them email me saying "SOUND doesn't work, you suck, you need to get this working blah blah blah" So when the plugin does hit Beta stages hoping its anyday now... we'll know what does and what doesn't work so we can hurry and correct it and go ahead and release the first public version hopefully a week or three after beta testing is stopped... pray for a beta release soon but don't ask when its going to be released so on so on. and don't tell me we suck cause that will cause us to completely abandon the plugin.
