I was just wondering. With all the mighty crackers, hackers, coders and whatever, how come noone has started working on a new "beta" version of vgs? I don't pretend to know anything of programming (except some logo and gw-basic, oh the glory of old days ;) ) bus i'm sure that lot's of people could do the job...... EVEN YOU WHO ARE READING THIS POST COULD HELP THE REVIVAL OF vgs!!!!
(i hope that was touching.....)
Anyway, what do you think guys?

One reason I could think of is legal reasons. Say someone manages to "fix up" VGS majorly and distribute it... first of all, it was a commercial product... secondly, Sony bough it over.... so double trouble there.

1.4.1 is by Connectix.
There are unofficial .dat file updates (kinda like the Nemu64 ini files), but no one actually tries to update the emulation core itself yet.
