I hope this dream comes true. I searched the net and came up with this.

July 30, 2003 — With the success of Spy Kids 3d: Game Over, Stallone's career seems to have sparked up yet again He talks to the Chicago Sun-Times about the next Rocky, which is currently titled Puncher's Chance:

"It seems like we have most people on board for the next 'Rocky' film," he says. "Now, it's just a matter of MGM and if they want to go through with it."

He says he will go back to Rocky's roots. " 'Rocky' movies, when they do work, are not really about boxing. They are about the story itself and how you can apply it to your everyday life. It's not about being a champion. You might want to be the best accountant and get your shot at doing that."

But that was in July. Do any of you think that it will come true....

Oh that sounds pretty goood Im a big Rocky fan myself but the thing is I dont think Rocky's gonna be fighting if its a sequel unless its like a prequel of some type

True... I did a little more research and it said it was gonna take on george foremans (however u spell it) recent doings.... all we can do is stand and wait

Yes all we can do is wait and see and hope its a great story that has that unforgettable Eye of the tiger song heh...

Yea, that song is very cool.. the only thing i think should happen is that rocky's son should start fighing, and Ivan (the cool russian guy) come back as a trainer or something.

Yeah that would be a good thing to do for Rocky's Son to fight cause if it turns out great then it would make more sequels, pretty much a different Rocky genre

I'm really hoping Rocky VI NEVER gets made. I really love the Rocky movies... 1-4 that is. Four would have been a great way to end it... I loved Dolph Lundgren as Ivan Drago... it had all that gritty Rocky underdog drama along with the classic 80's cold war US vs. Russia stuff. After a 5 year break they came out with Rocky V and I thought it absolutely sucked... the franchise was losing its magic. I really respect Stallone (ya know he actually wrote and directed the original Rocky?), but I can hardly think of what Rocky VI would be like with a now geriatric Stallone/Rocky.

Well it could suck... but hopefully Stallone would be able to write this one also.
