This may sound like a strange question, since everyone else doesn't appear to have problems like this. But how do you save states?

I've tried the shortcuts and I'm not sure if it works. I cannot access any of the file, run menus etc. since they do not appear anywhere on my screen when I run a game. Strangely they are there when no game is running.

There doesn't seem to be any save states stored anywhere and I basically don't know how to save them anyway. Like I said, shortcuts seem to do nothing, and I can't get to the menus.....

Memory cards appear to work fine.

So....how do I go about saving states?

Thanks

Quick Keys:
----------
F1: Save State
F2: Increase State Num
F3: Load State
F4: Show State-Pic

Readme.txt

There should be a 'sstates' folder in the PCSX root directory. When running a game the GUI goes away. Esc should take you back.

Cheers guys, the problem was no \sstates folder. It works now.

I do actually read the readme files

Did it mention sstates in there? I think I may hit myself if I missed something so obvious....

Thanks again
