What should I say? It's like the subject's saying. In BOFIII I have nearly 80 FPS but FF7 only has about 40 FPS.
I have a PII300 with 192 MB RAM and a Rage128. I'm using Pete's OpenGL 1.52.
These are my settings

Some games consume far more resources than others, so it's common for one game to run faster than others. On you case, there isn't much to do to get FF7 faster (your processor is close to the minimum needed). You may want to try different sound plugins, some are faster than others.

I thought I was doing something wrong. Cos it was just half the fps BOFIII had.
Anyway, I'm now using the Sound-Plugin's (No-Sound 0.4), I'm always listening to music.
Thx, anyway

No, althought you might want to lower you resolution to 800x600 or 640x480, that'll also help the game getting faster.
