I am using the latest version of PCSX with the PSX bios. I have used PCSX in the past without any problems, but this time when i try to run a cd or iso/img/bin i see the playstation bios screen then it all goes black.
Cant get any games to run at all.
I'm using the following plugins:
Graphics: Pete's opengl driver 1.74
Sound: Pete's dsound audio driver 1.15
CD: mooby2 cd disk image driver 2.8
Pad: kazzuya gamepad DInput driver 0.6
I'm using my laptop:
ATI Radeon 9000 mobility 64MB
If anyone can help wit this issue it would be most appreciated.

I think you should try to download the Bios again, maybe its corrupted.
Or try another Bios version .
Other than that, I cant think of anything else.

I'd agree with TheGodFather - try a new BIOS or try using the built-in BIOS emulation.

Ok... i have tried the built in bios and that doesnt work... i have tried the following versions of psx bios scph1000/1001/7502 which i get the same error.
Even tried using epsxe. I'll try downloading bios again.
Thanks for your help and fast replies

Hm, you should try some other CD-ROM or GPU plugins then, maybe. They'd seem like likely culprits if you're having the same problems with multiple games, BIOS's, and emulators.

yeah i'd say its the GPU, even my original psx cd's dont work. i have 5 different bios's lol
Guess i'll have to play around with other plugins

Wow you know it's an old thread when I get an email notification about it.
And you need help with PCSX2, not PCSX. That extra number is very important. Go post in the PCSX2 section (http://forums.ngemu.com/showthread.php?p=718442#post718442) and be sure to read the rules and all the stickies carefully.
