I just installed the 52.13's yesterday. Maybe I'll try them out.

EDIT: Wait, these are Quatro drivers.

GSDragoon, could you please post here and let us know how the 52.13 Detonators are working for you? I had heard that there was a GPU Fan issue with these and I wanted to see how they worked for you. Over at guru3d.com this issue was mentioned as well I'm interested in them, but I do not wish to compromise my video card. Thanks for any info.
sincerely,

Sxamiga, Guru3D have noted that over 2000 downloads of these drivers have been tested and no one seems to have that problem, nor do I.
They posted about it and it seems its an issue at their lab only .. Hope this helps.

My fan is working fine. Speed is about the same, their mostly for the FX cards I assume. IQ is very good too.

Unless your dying for the extra speed, I wouldn't bother. Your 5900 is worth a lot, plus you just got an A64 system.

Thanks chaosblade that is the info I was looking for and hoping to hear.
GSDragoon, what you say about my card and system are quite true and have a lot of merit. I'll have to consider, quite carefully I might add, wether or not I want to take the chance.
hushypushy, I, too, had troubles w/the 51.75 drivers. So I uninstalled them and I am now using the 45.32 drivers which work quite well. Just remember, anytime you install and try a beta anything you are taking a risk. It is a lot less fun but a lot safer to wait for the final, offical release.

oh, i think i didnt really state it....im not worried about the fan thing. seriously, i bet it was 100% fluke.

what im worried about is how last time, the 51.75s just made my computer f'ed up for like a week, which sucks. if im feeling adventurous/bored ill put the 52.13s, but im still waiting for the official release
