View Full Version : "The Legacy of Goku" doesn't work on VBA

I noticed that the Games "Dragon Ball Z - The Legacy of Goku" and #2 of the Series don't work on VBAs different from ver. 0.9.1 (I'm sure of what I'm saying until ver. 1.5a, I don't agree Forgotten's choice to save settings on INI). In the first game it clearly explains that it doesn't recognise VBA as a GameBoy Advance machine, the second one lets you play the beginning of the game. May someone explain me why, if possible with easy words?
Thank you

Forgotten once replied on a similar thread as follows, concerning the very same issue:
Not a problem. The game contains anti-piracy protection that will make it fail to run on "hardware" that contains SRAM. Selecting EEPROM as the save type fixes the problem.

Also, if you get a "pleasure not pressure" message in DBZ2, turn off the remove intros option.

Legacy of Goku 1 is awfull...seriously it's nothing compared to the other two and it's just an awfull game...should work fine though....at least it did for me...can't remember which version I was using at the time.

I'm brand new to emulators and not particularly good with computers, can you explain this in a more, well, dumb-dumb fashion?

for who ever still cares for this game the way to make it work for the vba old or new is to go to options, emulator, save type and change the settings to EEPROM and change the flash to 128k

Im having this problem and your post really didn't help, I looked all over the options in the emulator and I can't find the "remove intros" option anywhere.
edit: Okay I found the remove intros option but its grayed out >.>
