Is Dreamsnes still alive??

The latest version of DreamSnes is 0.98, and I looked at the date and it has been almost a year since the last release, if not longer :S
I don't want to push the authors, but I am wondering if they are still working on this project and if there will be a v1.0
Does anyone know this???

Discussion has been going on about this at DCemu and no one really knows. The base for DreamSNES, SNES9X has had an update so odds are that DreamSNES is still in existance. 0.98 was released on Oct. 31 last year, so maybe on this Halloween there will be a 1 year release, hopefully.

there was a recent thread stating its progress at the dcemulation forum about it

yeah they are very sparatic in releasing it
if you notice there are versions that an entire year passed

well, you guys do know that epsxe1.5.2 and 1.6.0 came out waaaaay more than a year apart (april 5th, 02 and august 5th, 03). and epsxe is still alive and kicking.

furthermore, i doubt they will make 1.0 until they can make most games play nearly 100%. last time i played dreamsnes it was great, but not the level it should be at for 1.0

Well I'm still hoping that someday it will be done, but at this moment I just play the games that work in a good way. But I do hope that there will be some speed ups which will make FF4, 5 and 6 playable with sound.
