Optimizing GPU and display options??

Basically I use epsxe and the lewpy plugin for my voodoo3. However aside from the GPU options itself does the display settings and 3dfx settings or tweakings help improve epsxe performance?? What I meant is the settings outside of the emulator and the plugin but I'm not sure if they are connected in anyway....
I just wanna be sure the my video card isn't doing excess operations that might involve performance.... your reply would be appreciated.

Go for it. Tewaking is always very usefull. But don't do it only in your gfx card drivers, go for the intere system - the OS, motherboard BIOS, anything. Just be sure not to try anything very radical or anything you don't know exactly what it is and what it does, since it can be very painful (especialy in the BIOS).

Also, when tweaking, I would reccommend to leave the registry strictly alone, unless you absoulutely know what you are doing. Messing up the registry can mess up your whole OS and force you to have to reinstall you whole OS again.:eek:
