[Razor Blade]

Well its pretty sad that this great emu doesnt have a logo. So I gave my shot at it. To make an XBox emulator logo. So choose which ones you like. And I hope _SF_ looks at these. Maybe he'll wanna use em. :D

RazorBlade did a fantastic job in creating logos/signatures so I myself became a little inspired (ChaosBlade was the one that really got me hooked however). So here is something I was able to do in my 15 minutes of free time before I head to bed. Ofcourse mines won't be as good as RazorBlade's, I say at the very least, its "okay" to look at.

I can't do the Magic eye things. My eye-brain interface doesn't have the bandwidth, so by the time my brain sees the information contained, lots of data is lost.......
Of course that's just a load of BS, but it is true that myself and a large number of others simply can't see these magic eye pictures.

Since the ever-evil logo contest has already started anyway, I could just as well join in the "fun".

The problem with logo contests is, even if you have the perfect logo, you'd still need the same guy to do the entire website in the same style... otherwise a good logo won't do you any good. There should always be a visual connection between the logo and the rest of the site.

Nobody even thinks about the actual site design, my guess is it's too "boring" or whatever. When the contest is over, you end up with, say, 5 "great logos!" and no actual site design. That we all leave up to the more experienced designers. While ironically enough, a logo in general is one of the most difficult design challenges. Yet, with a logo contest everyone gives it a try. Then the author picks one of these logos, and the designer is stuck with a logo that usually doesn't fit his design _at all_. Meaning he will either have to live with this, or scrap his/her own design and make one that fits the logo. Either way, he/she will end up unsatisfied with the end result. And the worst thing is, this is supposed to be fun, which is why all your efforts should be for free.

As of this moment, there were already several site designs in progress by dixon and myself. I'm not blaming anyone here for their efforts, some of the logos are nice and it's always fun to participate. The problem is that it just isn't fun for the designers. I've been screwed too many times by logo contests (VBA, anyone?), so you'll have to excuse my frustration.

Its a old program, it sucks cuase it only works on 8 bits bitmaps but then agin it works. its called SISGen 1.58
