New Version won't boot CD's

Is this because it uses the BIOS and I'm trying to run backups?
It doesn't even check the CD, though -- just, straight up, right after I click on to run the CD, it says it's not a PSX CD.
I tried saying run ISO image and selecting the BIN ON the CD off of there, that didn't work either -- still couldn't read from my CD, is the problem.
So the problem is -- AdriPSX doesn't like my CD drive.

Okay -- problem was, I didn't set my drive letter to E.
But /now/ the screen turns black, and doesn't go back to normal until I turn off my computer and start up again.

This is quite weird....
What GPU plugin are you using...
At home I use Pete's Soft, Kazzuya's and Lewpy's all the time, without trouble.
Try using Pete Software Renderer GPU, in window mode... and then tell me, please.
